Saturday’s episode of The Search was canceled after the government lockdown briefing was pushed back for the second time.Little Mix’s new talent streak already had its fair share of hurdles with its start date pushed back months due to the coronavirus pandemic, and then live broadcasts were further delayed after an outbreak on set.

Group member Jade Thirlwall was later forced to appear in the first episode live from her home after having to self-isolate because she feared coming into contact with someone with COVID-19.

Fans were overwhelmingly disappointed with the news. One reacted: “Damn that was the only thing I had to wait for this week”, and another tweeted: “like Boris couldn’t get any worse… he’s now postponed the only good time of the week. . ”

A third replied, “I have been looking forward to this show all week. Boris locking us out, I can forgive. Being late to announce it and causing my show to be canceled… I can’t forgive.

The girls were scheduled to play a special Halloween medley in Saturday’s pre-recorded episode, and other fans begged them to upload it to YouTube this weekend.
