Lisa Armstrong calls police over ‘theft’ of Skip’s Ant McPartlin love letters


Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife called the police and alleged that the letters they gave each other were stolen.Lisa Armstrong, 43, contacted officers after notes and other personal effects were taken from a dumpster outside the house the couple had shared.

The articles reportedly included a Valentine’s Day card from TV presenter Ant to Lisa.

A document with the seating arrangement for their wedding in 2006 was also taken, as was Ant’s personalized dressing gown at a celebrity golf event. A newspaper had previously claimed that the man with the articles had permission to go through the jump outside the £ 5million property in west London.

But makeup artist Lisa claimed otherwise.

Scotland Yard said: “Police were called on Thursday 17th September with reports of a burglary. It was reported that a number of items were stolen from a dumpster outside the property.

“The officers carried out investigations. No suspect has been identified. The investigation has been closed.

“If other investigative opportunities are established, they will be considered. “

It has been claimed that Lisa previously left books in boxes on the street with a sign saying “Help Yourself”.

She said this week that she recently left home and was living in a hotel while her new carpet was renovated.

Ant, 44, is now with Anne-Marie Corbett, 43, after he and Lisa divorced last year.
