Former NBA big man Marreese Speights tore Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James apart Twitter.
Speights hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2017-18 season with the Orlando Magic, but he’s talked a lot about the NBA and everything going on in the league.
On Tuesday, Speights posted a photo that essentially trolled James’ 4-10 record in the final while celebrating Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

Marreese Speights was part of the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors squad that won 73 regular season games to break the Chicago Bulls’ 72-10 record of 1995-96.
However, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 title over the Warriors by becoming the first team in NBA history to erase a 3-1 series deficit in the Finals.
It looks like Speights still hasn’t recovered from James dominating the Warriors in the 2016 Finals. While LeBron’s Finals record is quite lower than that of an NBA legend, it’s important to note that He is the only player in NBA history to make the Top 10 of all time in points and assists and to win three MVP awards of the Finals with three different teams.
Speights gets killed in his replies and quotes tweets from NBA fans as they criticize him for being an average player during his career and no longer in the league. The Florida native averaged 7.9 points and 4.1 rebounds in 705 NBA games with the Philadelphia 76ers, Memphis Grizzlies, Cavs, Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers and Magic.
Even if James sees this tweet from Speights, he won’t respond as he has been on the high road his entire Hall of Fame career since joining the league in 2003.
Plus, after winning the 2020 title, The King certainly doesn’t have time for someone looking to ruin their mood.
