Latest coronavirus case figures for each region of Gloucestershire


There have been 83 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Gloucestershire in the past 24 hours.That means today’s (October 25) rise in the county is slightly higher than yesterday’s 80.

Gloucester saw the biggest increase today with 20 cases, followed closely by 16 in the Cotswold.

Stroud saw 15 new cases, Forest of Dean 14, Cheltenham 11 and Tewkesbury Sept.

Coronavirus infections are spreading faster in the Southwest than anywhere else in the country, according to the latest government data.

The region’s growth rate, which reflects how quickly the number of infections is changing day by day, was between plus five and plus nine percent as of Friday, October 23.

The rate for England as a whole was plus three to plus five percent.
