Kelly Clarkson mocks Blake Shelton for entering children’s contest

Blake Shelton visits Monday’s edition of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” where he is invited to remember his very first public performance.In a preview of the interview, Shelton recalls that his mother had entered him into competitions “so that I could sing in the talent part.” But then, we should also make the evening outfits… ”

“I have to be honest,” intervenes host Kelly Clarkson, “I knew you were going to respond with that and I just wanted to hear you talk about contests. ”

“You are such a hole,” Shelton quipped of her fellow “Voice” trainer as she giggled with joy.

Thinking back to his pageant performances, Shelton recalls that his two song specialties were Bob Segar’s “Old Time Rock and Roll” and Ted Nugent’s scorching “Cat Scratch Fever,” which he admitted “didn’t.” did not go very well with the audience soccer moms. ”

“Did your evening wear ultimately help you win?” Clarkson turns off before laughing out loud.

Shelton later takes revenge on Clarkson when he gives him a gift: a “wall of champions” listing all the celebrities who have managed to beat Clarkson in the games on his show.

“It’s BS,” Clarkson complains, Shelton pointing to an empty section on the wall. “I left an area here for when I beat you at something today, because we have to play a game before we get out of here.”
