Bridges has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor three times, winning the Oscar in 2010 for playing alcoholic and washed-out country singer Otis Blake in the movie “Crazy Heart.” He also has four Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actor, but no wins in that category.
