The live-action pop culture event will feature Jamie Lynn bringing together the original cast of the Primetime Emmy nominated Nickelodeon show, along with Jeffries, dancer JoJo Siwa, TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio, and more.
In anticipation of the single’s release, Jamie Lynn spoke to Nylon magazine about the song. The release from the track follows news of a reboot of “Zoey 101”, whose production is delayed due to coronavirus restrictions, and a recent cast meeting for a sketch of “All That”.
“Obviously we want to meet her as an adult now, and I think it should be a young adult show,” she told Nylon. “We want to do justice to the fans who were 10 and 12 when it first aired, while also attracting the new generation of fans. Finding that balance will be really important because we want to connect with where people are today… ”What’s that story? What’s the best way to meet Zoey today? We don’t just want to do it to do it. We want it to be good.
Spears’ upcoming plans also include an appearance in the second season of Netflix’s “Sweet Magnolias”.
