Pastries can be far from stable in tent tension.

The mistake drew a lot of ridicule from fellow judge Prue Leith who claimed to have “destroyed” it, with many fans also flooding Twitter with memes.

Oh dear! The Great British Bake Off’s Paul Hollywood was left face red on Tuesday’s show, after hilariously destroying Hermine’s showstopper

Hermine created a delicate candied lime tart and lemon meringue with a square pastry tart to meet the challenge.

As she presented her creation to be judged, Prue praised, “I think it’s beautiful, I think it’s a really smart design and you got to make it work…”

But before she could finish her sentence, the cage was taken down by Paul so he could reach for the pie inside, which led Prue to finish, “… until Paul Hollywood destroys her.” ! However, this shows that the pastry will be delicious.

Tear it up! The mistake caused a great deal of ridicule on the part of his colleague Judge Prue Leith, who claimed that he had “destroyed” her, with many fans also flooding Twitter with memes.

As the other bakers struggled to hide their laughter, Paul tasted Hermine’s pie, noting that the base “could have been a bit thinner.”

Prue then joked, “It’s a really heavy Paul Hollywood cage, with a delicate little female middle. “

Laughing, Paul added, “It’s a Prue Leith pie with a Paul Hollywood base. “

The funny moment also elicited a lot of playful responses from fans, with some forming their own memes of the moment.
