France-Wales squad announcement live: updates as Wayne Pivac names his squad for the fall opening in Paris

Wales manager Wayne Pivac will name his squad for the autumn opener against France today on Saturday.Seven months after their last test match against England in the Six Nations, Wales will face Les Bleus in Paris to start their six-game autumn campaign.

With the Scottish Six Nations clash postponed a week later on October 31, it remains to be seen whether Pivac will field an experimental team or give his heavy hitters the much needed preparation minutes.

Both Liam Williams and Jonah Holmes have been released back to their home region for this weekend, which means uncapped teenage sensation Louis Rees-Zammit is set to make his debut.

Bristol Bears half-butterfly Callum Sheedy is unlikely to feature after arriving late at camp due to commitments with his team and Josh Navidi will miss the game as he continues to recover from a concussion.

After the game against Scotland on Halloween, Wales will take part in the new Autumn Nations Cup, with the Six Nations teams as well as Fiji and Georgia. You can see the full Wales Fall Meetings here.
