Fetty Wap paid tribute to his late brother on Friday, the day after his shooting death in New Jersey.
The 29-year-old rapper revealed the death in an Instagram photo of himself with Twyshon Depew, 26, whom he called his “twin.”
“I love you little brother my twin… RIP .. I failed you bro, I’m sorry,” he wrote.

In her Instagram Stories, Fetty told her friends and fans, “Stop asking me if I’m okay.”
“No TF, I don’t agree,” he wrote.
“I lost so many guys the shit was almost starting to feel normal… but my little brother,” he continued in a second text message.

Depew, 26, was shot in the chest around 9 p.m. Thursday night and driven by another man to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, according to the South Passaic Daily Voice. He died a few hours later.
It is currently unclear whether any suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder. Depew was the 22nd person to be shot dead in Paterson so far this year.

Family seemed to be his main concern and he said fame “didn’t mean anything to me.”
“My plan was to make sure my son was okay, and I have a daughter now, so now she’s included in the equation, and the job I do as Fetty Wap has me worried,” did he declare. “I don’t care if I am Fetty Wap.
The singer has his own growing family, including six children from different mothers.
