Ex-beach star Ashley Cain has made the heartbreaking revelation that her eight-week-old baby girl suffers from an aggressive form of leukemia.The 30-year-old reality TV star sits at the bedside of her baby daughter, who is called Azaylia Diamond, following her diagnosis.

Speaking to social media on Friday night, Ashley shared the heartbreaking news by uploading a video of himself affectionately stroking his daughter.

The footage showed the young father gently comforting his little daughter as she slept in a crib and he tucked blankets around her and whispered encouraging words to her.

Uploading the video to Instagram, the former footballer asked fans and subscribers to send their support for his baby.

He wrote on Friday night: “Yesterday I had to go through something that no parent in the world should go through.

“The most overwhelming, terrifying and heartbreaking experience I have ever had.

“I discovered that my beautiful daughter Azaylia Diamond Cain had been diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of leukemia which was accompanied by many complications.

“All who wish, please say a prayer for my beautiful and courageous little girl Azaylia who is currently fighting a battle for her life!”

Ashley and her girlfriend, Safiyya Vorajee, welcomed baby Azaylia together in August.

Celebrating her birth online at the time, Ashley proudly wrote, “Azaylia Diamond Cain 7lbs 10oz. Born on 08/10/2020. Time 06:56.

“There are no words to describe this feeling. But she opened new doors to my life and my heart. I could literally watch her all day and hold her until my arms gave way.

Fans gathered around Ashley to send her words of encouragement, with one writing on her Instagram post: “It just crushed me so I can’t imagine what you are feeling, but I just beat it. double-stroke lymphoma… another horrible cancer of the blood. Donor stem cell transplant saved my life and hope your little girl gets the same you can do this little girl from fighter to fighter.
