The Blues striker was loaned to score “prizes”
De Keane to Kean and Everton forward Moise Kean has been tipped to score “lots” of goals after being loaned to Paris St-Germain.
After a disappointing first season in the Premier League, the Italian leader decamped towards the French formation fueled by petrodollars just before the closure of the international transfer window.
Kevin Phillips is someone who knows what it takes to score Premier League goals after scoring 30 goals for Sunderland in the 1999/2000 season and he believes that after leaving Goodison Park there was a change of scenery could help the ex-Juventus man.
When asked if Kean’s move to Everton came too early in his career, Phillips told Football Insider:
“He was one of those four with Joelinton, Haller and Wesley at Villa, you thought these big four powerful strikers would come in and settle in the Premier League without any problem.
“It’s amazing how all four of them struggled.
“I just think it’s the pace of the game and the best defenders they face.
“You look at him, he’ll probably go now and score a lot of goals.
“And people will say” why did we get rid of him? But sometimes the players can’t settle down.
“We have seen it many times with players who have left. Look at Romelu Lukaku who has gone to Inter and can’t stop scoring.
“Some leagues and clubs are not suitable for players and vice versa.
“Look at him at PSG, he will score lots.”
