The characters fled the place just a few weeks ago, after her ex Stacey Slater returned.
She had been away for over a year and she and Martin had separated during this time, with Stacey hoping to be reconciled.
Stacey was mortified to learn that he was now dating her best friend, but nothing could have prepared her for what she learned on Monday.
As she rushed to their house to talk to him after he returned, Stacey told Martin her true feelings for him.
Martin told her it was “bad timing” and that she should have said something sooner.
Ruby soon came out of the house and couldn’t wait to rub their big news on poor Stacey’s face.
She suddenly said to him in front of her: “You are supposed to carry me to the threshold”, before smirking.
If that wasn’t enough to suggest that they were married, Martin soon turned to Stacey and stated that he and Ruby were married while on vacation.
Stacey was horrified, before the couple entered their house, leaving her in the square heartbroken.
