What the coaches say
Zlatko Dalic, Croatia manager: « [In the weekend win against Sweden] as soon as we felt pressured and our concentration was tested, we created problems for ourselves. Congratulations to the players. We did what was most important: we took three points. Our wish is to remain at the forefront of the League of Nations. This is our goal, but we need more points for it. ”
Didier Deschamps, France coach: “We can always do better. With the quality of the opposition that we faced [against Portugal on Sunday] we took precautions. It was harder for the forwards in this game and we had to do better in the last third to win. Our midfielders played very well being technically strong and complementing each other well. ”
