NEW YORK CITY (WABC) – A New York Giants player tested positive for COVID-19, the team said in a statement Thursday. The player, who was not identified, “immediately self-reported. -isolated ”and the search for contacts has started.”All of the player’s close contacts have been identified and have been advised to stay at home today,” the statement said. “These people will participate in remote meetings. We are working closely with the NFL Chief Medical Officer regarding the next steps in the protocol. The Giants added that the rest of the team continues to follow their normal practice and meeting schedule.
