Businesses and Leak Among Latest Potential Coronavirus Exposures in Manitoba


WINNIPEG – Three businesses in Manitoba, as well as a flight from Winnipeg to Edmonton, are listed as locations of potential COVID-19 exposure in Manitoba. Public Health published the list in its Friday COVID-19 bulletin.

A potential exposure occurred at Bar Red Sea, located at 268 Portage Avenue, on September 19 from midnight to 3 a.m.

Another exhibit in Winnipeg was held at CF Polo Park on September 19. The disclosure mentioned visits to the Foot Locker in the late morning and to the Famous Wok restaurant at lunchtime.

The third potential exhibition took place in Dauphin, Manitoba. at Boston Pizza located at D24-1450 Main Street on September 13 from approximately 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Another exhibit, announced Friday afternoon, was held at the Shark Club at 233 Hargrave Street. The potential exhibit happened on September 26 between 10 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. in a private room, depending on the province.

People who have been to any of the locations mentioned above should self-monitor for symptoms and immediately self-isolate and request testing if symptoms develop.


The province said potential exposure to COVID-19 was on a WestJet flight from Winnipeg to Edmonton on September 21.

The flight was WestJet Flight 147, and the exhibit was in rows 4 through 10.

Health officials are advising those in affected seats on the flight to self-isolate for 14 days and watch for symptoms. Passengers on the flight, but not in the affected seats, should watch for symptoms themselves and isolate themselves if they develop.
