He passed away suddenly in March last year, leaving his beloved friends, family and castmates in shock at the loss.
And Luke Perry’s 90210 TV family in Beverly Hills took time to remember him on Sunday, marking what would have been the late actor’s 54th birthday.
Perry died at the age of 52 on March 4, 2019 after a sudden and massive stroke.

The actor, who played bad boy / idiot Dylan in the iconic TV series, was commemorated this weekend on Instagram by at least four of his teammates, including Ian Ziering and Jennie Garth.
Ziering posted a sepia toned image of the men from the popular teenage drama Fox, including himself, Perry, Jason Priestley, and Brian Austin Green.
“All brothers from different mothers. Happy Birthday LP, RIP, ”he wrote in the caption.

Brian later posted again, sharing the last photo Luke sent him, showing him kneeling at the beach with his dog.
“It was the last photo you texted me,” he wrote in the caption.
“It’s my phone’s lock screen. It has been a very difficult day, but you have positively affected everyone you have met. I love and miss you brother ‘
Tori Spelling, who played Donna on the nightly soap opera, also took to Instagram to share some love for her fallen co-star.

Then, she took a moment to remember Luke, who she called a “brother”:

Actress Shannen Doherty, who played Perry’s primary onscreen love interest Brenda Walsh throughout the 90210 run, posted a portrait of the actor later in her life on her Instagram Stories, under the simple title “Luke”.

90210 ran for 10 seasons on Fox, from 1990 to 2000.

Later in his career and until his untimely death, Luke starred in another popular show, like Fred Andrews on Riverdale.
