Brady de Bucs and Henry of the Titans top player of the month


All told, Brady completed 105 of 159 attempts (66%) for 1,157 yards in four October outings, adding a rushed touchdown to his 12 in the air and throwing just one interception with three straight games in which he left with no choice. After 10 AFC Offensive Player of the Month awards while in New England, Brady won his first monthly NFC award.

Through the conferences, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry landed the AFC offensive player of the month. Henry racked up 399 yards of scrimmage with 344 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. Heading into another November, Henry leads the NFL to over 100 yards, currently with 663 yards, and he’s also tied for the top of the league with seven rushing scores.

Dynamic Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett chased AFC defensive player of the month as he led the charge for his team with a 3-1 record in October. Garrett has racked up six sacks over the month and boasts a streak of six straight contests with at least one sack. In addition to his sack tally, Garrett has made 14 tackles, four for loss and two forced fumbles in the last four games.
