A 16-year-old boy appeared before magistrates this morning after being charged with murder in Stoke-on-Trent.The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of killing Matthew Dale, 23, following an incident on Lightwood Road in Longton in the wee hours of Monday morning.
He appeared this morning at the North Staffordshire Justice Center in Newcastle-under-Lyme for a preliminary hearing.
The teenager will then appear at Stafford Crown Court on Friday, October 9.
He was remanded in custody.
