Bindi Irwin reveals she is ‘nearing halfway’ of pregnancy

She announced that she was expecting her first child with her husband, Chandler Powell, in August.

And on Wednesday, 22-year-old Bindi Irwin showed off her growing baby bump as she revealed she was “getting closer to half” of her pregnancy.

“The baby bump is getting bigger!” We are approaching the halfway point and I think our animal family at the Australian Zoo are excited to meet our daughter next year, ”she wrote alongside her Instagram photo.

In the photo, the Australian Wildlife Warrior covered her bump in her signature khaki work uniform.

She gently touched her stomach, smiling and posing alongside her husband Chandler.

Bindi’s post comes after showing a slight hint of her round belly in a photo taken by her mother.

“My beautiful mom took this picture yesterday,” Bindi wrote on Instagram.

“Little girl is doing very well. Whenever we have an ultrasound she is incredibly energetic and always on the move. She is now about the same size as a mountain pygmy opossum. So cute!’

Bindi and Chandler tied the knot on March 25 in a makeshift ceremony at the Australia Zoo, just before the COVID-19 lockdown.
