The woman who was arrested at an Applebee in Ohio because of a high chair dispute had ample opportunity to avoid her… based on police camera footage anyway. As we reported … Shannel Malcolm walked in with restaurant staff after claiming she was denied 2 high chairs for her twin babies. Welcome to 2020, where cops are called out on high chairs, and the video shows Shannel’s absolute disbelief once she sees the officers. At first, she is not at all interested in explaining her side of the story. Instead, she pulled out her phone and, as we reported … live stream the incident.

The officer spoke to an employee who explained that she was following the law by not allowing Shannel to have high chairs at her booth because it would be dangerous for her children. Applebee told TMZ… 2 high chairs in a cubicle created a fire hazard, so they offered to set it up at a different table. They claim Shannel refused and assaulted a pregnant host – and that’s why they called the police. As to why she was arrested? Well, watch the video to see what happened after the officer kicked her out of the restaurant.
Shannel was jaw-dropping with the other customers, and utterly defiant when the cop tried to let her go with a ticket. That’s when the handcuffs came out and, as we told you… she was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice. High chairs, people. High chairs.
