Apple Online Store ahead of iPhone 12 and 12 Pro pre-orders


Apple’s online store is down ahead of pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, which are expected to start at 5 a.m. PT in the US.“You’re… early,” reads the Apple Store message when you try to visit the US website. “Pre-order starts at 5:00 am PDT. Enjoy the extra sleep. Apple used to pre-order new devices at 12:01 a.m. PT, but since last year, pre-orders for iPhones at 5:00 a.m.

Apple’s iPhone 12‌ and 12 Pro models feature a complete overhaul with a flat-edged look similar to the design of the iPad Pro. All models feature edge-to-edge OLED displays, 5G connectivity, and improved camera technology.Following pre-orders, the first ‌iPhone 12‌ and 12 Pro shipments will arrive to customers on Friday, October 23. Note that pre-orders will only be available for the ‌iPhone 12‌ 6.1 inch and ‌iPhone 12 Pro 6.1 inch, with pre-orders for the iPhone 12‌ mini and ‌iPhone 12 Pro seront Max launching on November 6th.

If you’re hoping to get an ‌iPhone 12‌ or 12 Pro on launch day, it’s a good idea to buy early as it’s unclear how much supply Apple will have. Preliminary reports suggest demand is high and supply is low, with pre-orders for telecoms in Taiwan selling out in 45 minutes.

The price of the iPhone 12 starts at $ 829, although some US carriers offer a $ 30 discount that brings the price down to the Apple advertised price of $ 799. The price of the iPhone 12 Pro‌ starts at $ 999.
