ADELE looked slimmer than ever as she showed off her attempt at an American accent in Saturday Night Live’s first promo clip.
In the first look at her appearance on the show’s promo clip, the 32-year-old singer also teased that she would “maybe” be the musical guest.
8The video opened with Adele showing up and revealing that she was going to host the variety show this weekend.
She was joined by actor Kate McKinnon, 36, and musical guest HER, 23, on stage.
8All three women in the video wore face masks, as Adele rocked a bodycon velvet dress that flaunted her recent seven stone weight loss.
After sharing that she was the musical guest, Kate got confused and asked which of the singers would be doing musical performances during the episode.
Kate added, “Yeah, me. I will be the musical guest this week. “
8Adele then said, “Or maybe me. ”
The clip continued with Adele, Kate and HER doing their best to speak with accents unlike theirs, Adele impressing with her efforts as an American twang.
While Saturday’s appearance will be her first time hosting SNL, Adele made her NBC show debut as a musical guest in October 2008.
8The Grammy winner’s appearance on SNL comes as she continues to flaunt her impressive weight loss.
Many fans were hoping that her role as host on the show meant that she was planning to release her fourth album, although that didn’t appear to be the case.
8Her manager had previously confirmed that her fourth studio album was in the works, but had been delayed.
Meanwhile, Adele told fans in June 2020 to “be patient” when asked about a release date.

The untitled album will be the first record in five years.
Her most recent album to date is 2015’s 25, which included hit songs Hello and When We Were Young.
The singer recently told fans that she was “so excited” but “terrified” to host the famous show.

“I always wanted to do it as a secluded moment, so I could roll up my sleeves and fully immerse myself in it, but the time was never right.
