2020 NFL calendar updates: Broncos-Patriots rescheduled for week 6, other teams changed and breaking news


The NFL schedule has again flipped upside down following positive COVID-19 tests. Two games had been postponed for week 5, but one of them was moved. After another New England Patriots player tested positive for COVID-19, the Patriots Week 5 game against the Denver Broncos was postponed to Week 6. The Patriots had a week off scheduled for Week 6, but Broncos were set to face Miami Dolphins – – this game will be moved following sweeping schedule changes in the league.The Tennessee Titans had a positive coaching test on Sunday and had to shut down their facilities again – apparently putting Tuesday’s game against the Buffalo Bills in jeopardy. The NFL will play that game on Tuesday as scheduled, moving the Bills-Chiefs game from Thursday night to Monday, October 19 at 5 p.m. ET.

The New York Jets and Los Angeles Chargers have also seen their schedules changed due to the changes, as eight total games have been adjusted in the league – all in the AFC.
