Sunday was supposed to be the opening day of the Uptown Fall outdoor market, but for some unknown reason the market was canceled. The day before, the Uptown Waterloo Business Improvement Area (BIA) sent out a statement in the late afternoon, explaining that “for unforeseen reasons, the Uptown fall market tomorrow has been canceled.”

The market has been postponed to next Sunday.

The fall outdoor market was to be a continuation of the Uptown BIA summer market held on Willis Way. For the fall market, vendors will be set up in the parking lot behind Waterloo Town Hall.

The BIA follows public health recommendations to ensure a safe shopping experience, with appropriate signage and safety precautions.
