WATCH: Kyle Busch and Joey Logano drama continues as they make contact in Las Vegas

Kyle Busch and Joey Logano added another chapter to their story at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday. Busch and Logano made contact early on in Stage 2 of the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race, again as the two vied for the lead.Returning to Bristol Motor Speedway last week, Logano and Busch were embroiled in a tangle as Logano came to meet Busch, who was battling Kevin Harvick for the lead.

Sunday in Las Vegas, Logano and Busch occupied the first two places at the start of the Second step. The two were running quite close to each other, and suddenly Busch slipped into Logano in a ‘wide three for the head’. Denny Hamlin made a smart move and slid past the two drivers for the lead.

The contact forced Logano down due to tire friction, and he lost his lead, falling behind. Earlier in the race, Logano also had an incident with Chase Elliott. Logano blocked Elliott, who was not happy at all.

Denny Hamlin took the first leg of the Las Vegas race. Logano and Busch finished just behind him.

Right after last week’s incidents in Bristol, an angry Kyle Busch called Joey Logano ‘no one’s friend for a reason’. Logano responded to those comments by saying that he was not going to the circuit to make friends.

« I have no friends on the trail, none. Because I have “business connections”. That’s what they are over there. We are all competing to try to win. They go against me. No friend will do that. No friend will try to remove food from your child’s plate. ” This Logano.

The two had one of their fiercest incidents at Las Vegas Motor Speedway itself. A few years ago, in 2017, they literally got into a fight on the track after a race, leaving Busch to bleed a bit.

Sunday’s contact wasn’t too directly damaging and didn’t seem to be anyone’s fault. But that affected the momentum of the race as Logano has not fully recovered since.
