US Open 2020 standings: Live coverage, golf scores, Tiger Woods scores today in round two at Winged Foot

The first 18 holes of the 2020 US Open played as easily as Winged Foot will get them through the rest of the week. Friday’s second round is expected to include gusts of wind, cold temperatures and firmer greens than what we saw on opening day. Hope you enjoyed all that scoring over the first 18 holes as you probably aren’t going to see much the rest of the time. What you are going to see on Friday are the best golfers in the world competing to keep their heads above normal. Matthew Wolff and Thomas Pieters will leave early after huge opening laps in which they both pulled 4 cents. Leader Justin Thomas (-5) will start late, as will Patrick Reed (-4) and Rory McIlroy (-3). We will see them face off against each other and – perhaps more aptly – a golf course that is going to fight heavily over the next three days. We’ll also see if Tiger Woods (+3), Dustin Johnson (+3) and Jordan Spieth (+3) can fight to make the cut on Friday in the first of six majors this season.
