US equity futures surge after miserable week for the Nasdaq

U.S. stock index futures rose on Sunday night, as a series of trades raised hopes that struggling stocks would recover after the high-tech Nasdaq ended its worst week since March. As of 10 p.m. EST, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YM00,

Investors were encouraged by Sunday after Gilead struck a $ 21 billion deal to acquire Immunomedics, Nvidia agreed to a $ 40 billion deal to buy Arm Holdings from SoftBank in Japan, and Oracle appeared poised to take over TikTok’s US operations.
