Twitter has suspended the account of a Chinese virologist who claimed COVID-19 was made in a lab.Dr Li-Meng Yan, a former researcher at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, turned grim on the platform after accusing China of withholding evidence that the deadly virus originated from a Wuhan laboratory.

Twitter declined to comment on the Post on Wednesday.

The whistleblower published an article on the open-access repository Zenote website on Monday which she said confirms her claims and shows how the virus could be “easily created” in a lab in six months.
