Tottenham brand Dele Alli NOT FOR SALE, Man Utd ‘reluctant’ to pay for Alex Telles, Daniel James at Leeds

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is NOT FOR SALE this summer, talkSPORT understands.

The England international has been linked with an astonishing move from Spurs after allegedly losing the good books to manager Jose Mourinho.

Alli reportedly fell out with Spurs boss Jose Mourinho

Alli was substituted at half-time in Tottenham’s opening Premier League defeat to Everton, and hasn’t even been in the squads for their next two games – wins against Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Southampton.

The 24-year-old, described as “lazy” by Mourinho in the All or nothing documentary, has been linked to surprise moves at Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

And while talkSPORT understands Alli’s agents have been in contact with French giant PSG, Tottenham will not sell the midfielder this summer.

“I can only speak about Tottenham’s position, and this is the moment Dele Alli is NOT for sale,” talkSPORT transfer guru Alex Crook told Jim White.

“His agents have had talks with Paris Saint-Germain, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Tottenham are ready to do business at this point.

“From what I am told, despite the fact that he did not choose him for the last two teams, Jose Mourinho still considers Dele Alli to be part of the furniture of the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

“Therefore, it would take a large offer, I am told, for them to sell it in this transfer window.

“What I know is that should he’s moving on and as I say it seems unlikely in the coming weeks Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a move for Jesse Lingard.

Crook also told us that Manchester United were “reluctant” to pay for Porto defender Alex Telles, who was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this weekend.

“It could frustrate Manchester United fans even more,” he added.

“They like Porto left-back Alex Telles, but my sources in Portugal tell me that despite personal conditions already in place, Ed Woodward is reluctant at the moment to pay the fees requested by Porto.

“His buyout clause is 40million euros (£ 36.6million), but Woodward estimates it much less than that, closer to £ 18million. The two clubs are therefore quite separate.

“It becomes the theme of the summer as far as Manchester United is concerned.”

Meanwhile, Welsh United winger Daniel James is also a serious target for Leeds United, Marcelo Bielsa still interested in the player who came close to joining the Yorkshire club last year.

“There is really real interest there,” Crook said.

“Of course James was so close to joining Leeds in January 2019 – he was even pictured holding a Leeds shirt with his name and number on the back, that’s how long it was – but this deal s ‘collapsed at the eleventh hour. and he joined Manchester United the following summer.

“Despite a brilliant start to his career his form took a turn for the worse at Old Trafford, but Bielsa remains a great admirer.

“I imagine this one still depends on United being successful in getting Jadon Sancho to the line because at the moment he still has a lot of playing time.”

No other Premier League club would have Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager, says talkSPORT’s Alex Crook
