Three Granville Street bars flagged as coronavirus exposure sites


Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is warning customers who recently visited three bars and nightclubs on Granville Street that they may be exposed to COVID-19.The health authority issued a public exhibition notification on Sunday, indicating the dates and times the exhibitions took place.

The most recent was at The Compound / Heaven, located at 1026 Granville Street. Anyone who attended the facility on August 29, between 9:45 p.m. and 1 a.m., is in danger.

The day before, VCH said the Studio Lounge and nightclub at 919 Granville Street also hosted an exhibition event. People who were there on August 28, anytime during opening hours, should consider themselves at risk of being exposed to the coronavirus

Finally, Cabana Lounge at 1159 Granville Street also had potential exhibit on August 28. during operating hours.

“The possible exposures listed on the site are considered low risk, but we ask anyone in the locations listed on these dates to self-monitor for symptoms,” VCH said in its update. .

Common symptoms of the coronavirus include cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, and loss of smell or taste.
