Despite clear skies and unusually warm temperatures for the season, dark clouds continue to form over Ontario and Quebec regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. Ontario reported 491 new cases today, the highest daily increase since the start of May. Again, Toronto, Peel Region and Ottawa have the most cases. The scenario is even darker in Quebec, where 896 cases are reported today. This is in addition to the 698 positive cases on Saturday. Chief Public Health Officer Dr Theresa Tam has made it clear now is not the time to relax. She urges everyone to take precautions and limit the number of people they come into close contact with.
