Buenos Aires university professor died on Wednesday after collapsing at Zoom conference, according to digital siteJournal month.
Teacher Paola De Simone, 46, is believed to have struggled to catch her breath and then died of COVID-19 in Argentina.
De Simone, a professor at the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, had complained about not feeling well while teaching on Zoom, while her students begged her to let them send an ambulance to her address.
The teacher was said to gasp, “I can’t” in the middle of the sentence before collapsing.
Her husband, a doctor, found De Simone dead at home. The couple had a daughter.
Diary month reports that the teacher wrote on Twitter at the end of August: “It’s very complicated. i have been here [with the virus] for more than four weeks and the symptoms do not go away. My husband is exhausted from so much work at the moment.
But in the days leading up to her death, she had expressed health concerns after suffering from persistent symptoms of COVID-19 – including a cough – for more than a month.
