The Leeds United Under-23s are in Premier League 2 again this afternoon when they visit Sunderland at the Academy of Light.Mark Jackson’s side are on the hunt for their first win in the competition following a loss to Stoke and a home draw against Wolves so far this season.
Joe Gelhardt has shown great promise in Leeds’ first two matches so far and will look to impress again alongside his summer fellow Sam Greenwood up front.
The Black Cats have lost their only Premier League 2 game so far this season, so Leeds will look to put some distance between them and their hosts early in the table with a win this afternoon.
