Due to safety concerns for our staff and residents, we have closed our drive-through COVID testing clinic for the day. Those currently online will be tested. We hope to reopen tomorrow.

St. Mary’s says staff are prioritizing those who show symptoms or have been referred for testing.
The HRM clinic is closed for the day as they continue the backlog of tests since early Wednesday morning.
Regional police are also on site, directing traffic and helping with congestion.
They remind the public to be patient, kind and understanding with hospital staff and other members of the community.
Team leader Sarah Sullivan says the GRH drive-thru center had to close due to queues and aggressive people. She says there have even been assaults on the property. They will open tomorrow after reassessing the situation. @ 570NEWS
