Emmerdale spoilers follow.
In the next week Emmerdale In episodes, Belle continues to face her family’s disapproval for dating Jamie, but panics when a new witness shows up in Moira’s hit-and-run case.
Meanwhile, Will gets a gun, paranoid about Malone’s return, which prompts Dawn to reveal that she killed him.
Here are the nine moments you can expect.
1. Belle continues to be shunned by the family
Following her family’s disapproval of her date with Jamie, Belle continues to be shunned by the Dingles, even publicly shamed by Cain.
Although she’s made the decision to leave Wishing Well, things are still awkward when Belle sees the Dingles around the village.
Belle is hurt when Paddy berates her for starting a family feud and is later annoyed when she notices him and Marlon talking about her and Jamie behind her back.
But soon, Belle has much more important things to fear …
2. Nice panic about the discovery of Jamie
Paddy and Marlon reveal to a nervous Belle that a new witness has come forward in the Moira hit-and-run case.
When Belle talks to Jamie about this latest development, panicking that it’s only a matter of time before it’s discovered, Jamie tries to stay calm. Jamie is convinced that his crime will not be discovered, but Belle is stunned by his fearlessness.
As Belle wonders how Jamie can be so sure to get away with it, they are interrupted by a phone call.
3. Andrea arrives at the house to see that Belle has moved in.
At Home Farm, now his new love nest with Belle, Jamie is determined to divorce Andrea as soon as he can. Belle is surprised by Jamie who is moving so fast, although part of her is touched by him who clearly expresses his intentions. However, knowing how vicious Andrea can be, Belle worries that she will react badly.
Belle doesn’t have long to find out because just as they discuss the divorce, Andrea returns to Home Farm. How will she react to seeing Belle already moved in and knowing Jamie’s big secret? And how will she learn that Jamie wants a divorce immediately?
4. Paranoid Will gets a gun
Will is worried about Malone’s sudden disappearance and starts to panic that he saw him hiding. As Harriet heads to a religious retreat, Dawn must try to calm Will down but he refuses to listen.
Will makes a secret and desperate phone call and later, Dawn catches him taking a gun from an old friend. It can only mean trouble.
Dawn confronts Will about the gun, angrily reminding him of what happened the last time he brought a gun into the house. Will listens, but his mind is still firmly on Malone, with growing paranoia.
5. Cain finds Harriet in tears
Cain is suspicious when he notices the door to the church has been left open and heads there to investigate. Inside, he finds Harriet who has returned from retirement, but it seems her efforts to seek spiritual guidance have not worked.
As Harriet sobs, Cain begs her to tell him what’s wrong, but will she reveal to her old flame what happened with Malone?
6. Dawn reveals the truth to Will
In Woodbine, Dawn can no longer contain her guilt and seeing her father in such a state, she is forced to admit that she shot and killed Malone.
Horrified Will can barely believe what she tells him, but it becomes clear that she is telling an edited version of events – one in which Harriet is not involved.
Soon after, Harriet enters their tense conversation. Will she admit her involvement in what happened to Malone? And will she break Will’s heart to admit that she also slept with Malone?
7. Marlon tries to clear things up between Amy and Matty
Marlon is already in hot water, knowing that his sabotage of takeout from The Hide endangers Amy’s job, but he feels even worse when he learns that the theft of his pizza box has caused a breakup between Amy and Matty.
Determined to make things right, Marlon invites Amy to a pizza tasting event at the Woolpack with him and Matty to try and reconnect with their friendship.
With Amy excited to spend an evening with Matty, are there any signs that she wants to be more than friends?
8. Amy’s hopes of getting closer to Matty are threatened by Tracy
When Amy arrives at the pub for the tasting night, she is disheartened to see that Marlon has invited more, after Paddy suggests that she make it more of a group event in case things get awkward. Amy was hoping to spend some quality time with Matty and now that has been abandoned.
Things get worse when Tracy arrives and there is an obvious tension between them – let’s hope no one mentions Frank’s name.
The next day, Tracy makes her feelings clear as she tries to stop Amy from dating Matty. Will that end all romance before it even begins?
9. Nicola organizes a clothes exchange
Nicola has been busy at the cafe for the past few weeks, trying to make her way into the business now, she’s a silent partner, but as we know Nicola is never happy if she doesn’t have a hundred things in motion. .
Next week, she gets a brainwave for an event to bring the community together and has a clothes swap in the village hall. But will everything go as planned?
