Police were filmed dragging a passenger from a busy train in London after he was repeatedly asked to wear a face mask.
Images allegedly taken on a London Overground train yesterday begin with a British Transport Police officer ordering the young passenger to wear a face mask or face deportation.
When the officer first warns him, the passenger replies, “You have to train me, man.” What does Mandem do?
When a mask is finally passed to the passenger, who appears to be part of a group, the officer tells them, “Put it on, keep it on, stop talking to me, and you all lay down.” You are not supposed to be part of such a large group.
At the start of the footage, the officer can be heard repeatedly asking a passenger to put on his mask, threatening to remove him from the London Overground train if he does not. The passenger replies: “You have to train me, man”
Eventually the young man receives a mask, but he takes his time putting it on his face on the busy train.
As the passenger tries to put on the mask, the officer comes forward and says, “Stop trying to get me out my friend, it’s not going to end well for you.”
After putting on the mask, the passenger complains loudly about the policeman: “I saw this man looking at us! This guy!
The policeman replies: “Yeah because we have 45,000 people who have died from this disease, my friend”.
The officer finally approaches the man and says to him: “Stop trying to get me out my friend, it’s not going to end well for you”
The two men continue to argue even after the mask is put on, and moments later, footage appears to record the officer called “p ********”
In another clip, the cop tells the passenger that the other commuters on the crowded train think he is an “idiot” for not wearing a mask and arguing about it.
We then hear the passenger calling the cop a “p ********”. This angered the policeman who forcibly pushed the passenger through the crowd and made him get off the train.
There is a huge commotion and argument between the cops and the passengers as they are evacuated from the train.
The clip appeared on social media yesterday and divided users online – some defending the cop’s action while others supported the bickering passenger.
Several people backed the cop with one user online commenting, “I hate to say it, but the cop is right.
Another individual also said: “Just wear a mask. Isn’t that so difficult ”- while another wrote:“ If he put on a mask and shut up, the whole situation would have been resolved but he thought he was smart ”.
The office then gets off the packed train after the passenger and launches it at the next station
Onlookers recorded the agent appearing to struggle with the passenger, who was wearing a mask at this point
Surrounded by a group, considered the friend of the passenger, the officer then urges them to leave the South East London station.
However, others believed the policeman was wrong, with one social media user explaining: “He [the passenger] finally put on a mask after receiving one.
“The officer reacted to the comment and climbed over it by moving towards him and getting him off the train. You can chat with the police, it is not against the law.
Likewise, another individual defended the passenger saying the cop just wanted an excuse to warn him: “So he put on the mask and the officer still didn’t leave him alone then.” Anyway, I really wanted to fuck him.
