Samsung today announced a slew of new devices at its Life Unstoppable virtual event, including the Galaxy A42 5G, which when presented would be its most affordable 5G device yet. At the same time, Samsung also announced a new wireless charger capable of charging multiple devices at once, as well as a new Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab A7.
The Galaxy A42 5G is the latest addition to Samsung’s mid-range A-series. Samsung says it has an array of four cameras on the back, a 6.6-inch OLED display, and will be available in black. It will launch later this year, according to CNET.
Meanwhile, the Wireless Charger Trio is a charger that can wirelessly power three devices simultaneously. It is a successor to the Wireless Charger Duo which, as the name suggests, can charge two devices at the same time. Samsung’s press release doesn’t mention which charging speeds the Trio supports, which has been a major drawback of at least one recent wireless charger that supports multiple devices. SamMobile reports that it will cost € 99 when launched.

Finally, there’s the Galaxy Tab A7, a 10.4-inch tablet for media consumption that has four Dolby Atmos compatible speakers. Samsung’s presentation didn’t mention the price of the new tablet, but it should be cheaper than the Tab S7 tablets announced last month at its Note 20 Unpacked event.
