Samantha Cameron reveals how her quick trip to New York with David got the wedding back on track


Samantha Cameron has revealed that she and her husband David took a trip to New York after struggling to ‘get along’ the year after leaving Downing Street.She admitted on Tuesday that a year after David Cameron stepped down as Prime Minister in the summer of 2016, they were “not getting along very well” as a couple and it was “really weird”.

In an attempt to resolve their difficulties, the Camerons spent three days in New York without their three children, which Ms. Cameron admits to finding difficult but which she says got them “back on track”.

In a rare interview, the 49-year-old revealed that the couple “never go out again” at night because she feels she has to be home “all the time” to take care of her teenage children.
