Rhea Chakraborty’s Brother Showik Asks For Drugs For ‘Daddy’ In Newly Viewed Chat Messages – Bollywood

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has found new evidence in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. According to a report in Times Now, the CBI accessed a WhatsApp conversation between actor Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and a drug dealer.

The chat messages show Showik asking the drug seller “boom” for “daddy.” It is not known whether “dad” refers to Rhea and Showik’s father, Indrajit Chakraborty, or someone else he nicknamed “dad”. “I wanted a boom brother, daddy wants… I didn’t know his maal was over,” Showik’s message read. The peddler said he was running out of “stock” and would have it for him tomorrow.

Rhea’s parents were questioned Tuesday by the CBI for the first time in connection with the case. His father Indrajeet and mother Sandhya reached the DRDO guesthouse in the suburb of Kalina, where the CBI investigation team is stationed, around 11 a.m. and left in the evening after more than eight hours of interrogation, said a police official.

The CBI continued questioning his brother, who was first summoned last week, also Tuesday. Showik was accompanying his parents when the trio arrived at the DRDO guesthouse in a car that was being escorted by a police vehicle, the official said.

Rhea and her parents are among those named in the FIR registered by Patna Police for allegedly encouraging Sushant’s suicide and embezzling her money. The suspect was found dead in his apartment in the suburbs of Bandra on June 14, after which Mumbai police recorded one accidental death case and recorded statements from nearly three dozen people. The case was referred to CBI by the Supreme Court last month.
