A striker to serve as Harry Kane’s back is said to be on Mourinho’s radar with reports claiming the Spurs boss has identified two potential candidates.
Both Diego Costa and Callum Wilson are suggested to be on Tottenham’s shopping list this summer.
Costa, who Mourinho brought back to Chelsea in 2014 has fallen out of favor at Atletico Madrid and it is suggested that the Spanish giants have offered the striker to Spurs (Daily Star).
The report reveals that Spurs are also seriously considering Wilson as an option, having already agreed to meet the Bournemouth striker’s £ 75,000 a week salary demands.
Cherries, however, are said to be standing for a fee of around £ 30million.
It is also suggested that Tottenham consider making a move for Watford left-back Pervis Estupinan.
Opinion Web des Spurs
I can see why some Spurs fans are unsure about the idea of including Diego Costa as the 31-year-old can be a bit of a loose cannon. However, the idea has certainly grown on me over the past few days and I have no doubts that he can be a great asset to us if Mourinho manages him well.
Ties with Estupinan also don’t appear to be waning, although there have also been recent suggestions of a potential move for Sergio Reguilon. However, with Alasdair Gold indicating that Mourinho is quite happy with his options at left-back, I don’t expect us to move for either player this summer.
