Real Madrid striker set to reunite with Carlo Ancelotti at Goodison Park after reaching three-year deal

James Rodriguez has finalized a permanent move to Everton with an announcement expected on Wednesday, according to talkSPORT.

The Colombia international has reached a three-year deal with the Premier League side, where he will reunite with Carlo Ancelotti – with whom he previously worked at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Rodriguez has already passed his medical and should have suffered a significant pay cut to sign for the Merseyside team.

The deal represents a hugely significant coup for Everton, underscoring the caliber of player they are now able to attract under Ancelotti’s tutelage.

Real Madrid are said to demand fees of over £ 20million for the striker, with only 10 months left on his Bernabeu contract.

It’s unclear at this point exactly how much the Toffees shelled out to secure Rodriguez’s signing.
