Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spark outrage over Nixing fundraiser

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markel have come under fire for canceling a planned fundraising event for injured veterans last week, shortly after signing a multi-year media production deal with Netflix days earlier, from a value of more than nine digits. The fundraising event would raise at least £ 1million for the Invictus Games Foundation. The Invictus Games, created by Harry, are an international multisport event, focused on injured, injured or ill service members who participate in nine sports, including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and indoor rowing.

A Sunday Times article said the event was scheduled to air on Amazon, which is seen as a direct competitor to Netflix, causing a financial dispute.

The exclusive content of the Netflix deal includes a series of documentaries, documentaries, films, scripted shows and children’s programming.

There was scheduled to be a music and comedy show in California next June, which would likely be held at the Hollywood Bowl.

Singers Beyonce and Ed Sheeran were among those scheduled to make an appearance.

A spokesperson for Invictus claimed the event was canceled due to the coronavirus and claimed it had nothing to do with the couple’s lightning deal.

The 2020 Invictus Games were scheduled to be held in April but were scrapped due to COVID-19, the Daily Mail reported.
