Upon his return, Piers spoke about his vacation in France and the terrifying moment the villa he was staying in was broken into.

What did Piers Morgan say?
Piers said: “I was robbed the last night… a group of thieves in the house in the bedroom while we were sleeping.
“A London detective from the Flying Squad contacted me and part of his family had been robbed in Cannes the same week, and he thought it was the same gang.
“I remember a few days before the arrival of a drone.
“They were trying to find out who was in the villa where to go.”

Later in the program, Piers warned he would find the burglars.
He spoke of a woman called Elaine, who won £ 2.7million in the lottery 25 years ago and has kept her job at a supermarket.

When asked how long he could keep £ 2.7million before spending it, Piers replied: ‘At least a week. ”
Susanna said: “In the south of France. ”
Piers continued, “In the south of France, before it was all nicked with disgusting burglar crap, crawling into my room in the middle of the night.
“And yes, I will find you. It will make Taken look like a snack. I’m serious, I’ll find you.
Last month Piers’ wife Celia Walden opened up about the heist.
Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Celia, who married Piers 10 years ago and received the article as a fifth anniversary gift, said: “The jewelry part has stung. It still stings now, almost a week later.
“The art deco ring my husband bought me for our fifth wedding anniversary; the vintage Pucci bracelet that I bought at a flea market in Los Angeles.
Celia said she also stole a pair of earrings that she “bought at Alfies Antique Market on Edgware Road when my first book advance came in.”
