Piers Morgan Life Stories: Captain Sir Tom Moore Says He Was Caught Running At The Age Of 98

Captain Sir Tom Moore was caught running at the age of 98, he told Piers Morgan in a new interview.

Appearing on ITV Piers Morgan Life Stories, the veteran explained that he was caught driving too fast and therefore had to take a speed awareness course.

He said, “It wasn’t fair. I mean 38 mph for someone like me. It was nothing. I took one of those speed awareness courses. Having to pay, it cost you more than your points. “

He jokingly described the course as “boring” in the interview, which aired on Sunday.

Elsewhere in the interview, he said Boris Johnson was the best Prime Minister of his life; there were 25 PM seated during the life of Captain Tom.

Captain Tom was recently knighted to the Queen after raising almost £ 33million for NHS Charities Together by participating in a fundraiser walk ahead of his 100th birthday.

The veteran said BBC breakfast of the meeting at Windsor Castle: “You could never imagine what it was like to be so close to the Queen, who is a person’s absolute dream.

“We had a really good time and having that honor, really, is something very special.”
