The Duke and Duchess appeared on a TIME 100 special last night hosted by American television station ABC. The show gave viewers a sneak peek at the people on this year’s eminent TIME100 list, compiled by TIME magazine each year with the aim of highlighting influential people.
“But this one is. When we vote, our values are put into action and our voices are heard. ”
Prince Harry added, according to People magazine: “As November approaches, it is essential that we reject hate speech, disinformation and negativity online.
“What we consume, what we are exposed to and what we engage with online has a real effect on all of us.
The United States is less than two months away from the potential vote for a new president or from the selection of Donald Trump for another four years.
Citizens are due to go to the polls on November 3. Joe Biden is the Democratic candidate to take on Mr. Trump.

Last month, she appeared as a special guest in a virtual discussion hosted by the United States for Women and When We All Vote.
She told listeners the election was “so close”, and added “we all know what’s at stake this year.”
Meghan said: “This week we recognize the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which of course gave women the right to vote – but not all women; and more specifically, not women of color.
“At this point, if we’re not part of the solution, we’re part of the problem. If you are not going to vote, you are an accomplice. If you are complacent, you are complicit.
The When We All Vote organization is reportedly non-partisan – although it was co-started by former US First Lady Michelle Obama.
Although Meghan and Harry are featured on the TIME100 television special, the Sussexes are not themselves included in the ‘most influential people’ list.
The royal couple have, however, been featured in the past. The two were named TIME Magazine’s most influential people of 2018.
People included in this year’s list include American rapper Megan Thee Stallion, British actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and American health adviser Anthony Fauci.
Meghan and Harry currently live in the California region of Santa Barbara, having resigned from the royal family this year.
They are currently involved in producing their own shows for Netflix, having recently signed a major deal with the streaming service.
