In an interview with the Good Brothers Talk’n Shop Patreon podcast (via Wrestling Inc), Matt Jackson said AJ Styles almost made an appearance on the first episode of Dynamite with Gallows and Anderson. However, he didn’t mention the styles by name, but made it clear who he was referring to. Styles’ first contract with WWE was in place at the start of last year and there were rumors at the time that he could move to AEW for their debut. Here are the highlights:Matt Jackson on home ground to bring Gallows and Anderson to WWE
: “When did we come up with ideas for you guys [Anderson and Gallows] come in, it wasn’t gonna be just you two [debuting on AEW]. There would be another person whom I would not name. Let’s just say he’s another Bullet Club member that you might not want to talk about. We were originally going to debut with AEW Dynamite at Madison Square Garden. At the end of our match, you three [Anderson, Gallows, and Styles] were supposed to jump off the railing, and we were going to have a Bullet Club reunion. Obviously, things didn’t turn out that way.
Matt on the styles thanking them: “The first guy in this conversation [AJ Styles] buzzed us and said, “I just got too good an offer [from WWE] and I would never have had this money without the offer from you. So I want to thank you.
Nick on their out of stock figures: “We went to 20 different Walmart stores, trying to find our action figures and they sold out on every attempt. Everything we do makes no sense, and I don’t know why, but no one wants to honor us for it.
