Manchester United news and transfers LIVE Alex Telles ‘determined’ to complete Man Utd move


Manchester United’s home game against Tottenham Hotspur has been selected for live television coverage by Sky Sports.The Premier League match at Old Trafford will be played on Sunday 4th October and start at 4.30pm.

In a statement, the league also confirmed new kickoff times for midweek games. The statement said: “Following yesterday’s announcement by the UK government that pubs will close at 10pm, the Premier League midweek fixtures will now take place at 5.45pm and 8pm.

“These new kick off times will take effect on Monday 28 September, with Fulham now hosting Aston Villa at 5.45pm BST and Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool from 8.00pm BST.

“In consultation with all relevant stakeholders, the Premier League is considering appropriate arrangements for matches taking place after October 4. ”

Elsewhere, Teden Mengi was promoted to the teams’ first squad.

MEN revealed last week that 18-year-old Mengi has been promoted to the senior squad and United’s website uploaded his profile to the first-team section.
