In another version leading up to the unveiling, Lucid now confirms that the first version of the Air, the Lucid Air Dream Edition, is capable of completing the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds.

Among the most impressive parts of Lucid’s powertrain is the drive unit and inverter which can deliver 650bhp in a very small package:
