Lost money found at Coquitlam Tim Hortons

COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) – Someone who visited a Tim Hortons in Coquitlam left a lot of dough behind three months ago, and the police are looking for the owner of the wad of cash.Coquitlam RCMP are asking the rightful owner to contact them in order to recover a “large amount” of money that they left at Tims on Austin Avenue on June 20.

Getting that price isn’t as easy as rolling the rim. If you are the owner, you will need to answer questions about the value for money and what brand of bag it was in.

“Before anyone calls, they should know that we have a security video of the man who left the money,” the corporal said. Michael McLaughlin.

The money was handed over to the police by a member of the community, which McLaughlin says is quite common.

“It’s also a good reminder that if you’ve already lost a substantial part of the money, you can call the police and make a report,” he says.

If you are the one losing their money, call the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and ask for Const. Andrew Krueger.
